Even with the power of Google and modern AI, only a very small portion of the internet is actually searched each day. Google likely re-crawls well under 1% of all existing web pages daily, while large AI systems may process only around 0.01%–0.1% of the public web on an average day. Most systems focus on highly visible, heavily linked, and mainstream sources – leaving vast areas of the web fragmented, obscure, regional, private, or simply overlooked.
Orpheus was built to look far beyond publicly visible listings. Our search network continuously monitors auction houses, specialist dealers, galleries, estate-sale channels, private catalogues, collector marketplaces, and other difficult-to-find sources to uncover exceptional opportunities before they become widely known.
This includes sources that conventional search engines and AI platforms may be unable to access:
- Collectibles submitted directly to Orpheus by owners who prefer to sell privately
